Our Verdict

Smidge insect repellent, which you can find in a new travel bottle here, is a Scottish staple for me in the months between late May right through till the end of September.

So, I was pleased to see the guys behind the leading insect repellent have also released a small, credit card-sized tick removal card, which has 2 notches for the big ones and the little ones, and even a small magnifying glass to help find them.

As this can be stashed in a wallet or purse, it’s a vital bit of kit, that you can almost forget you have on you until the need arises.
