A pack of 10 hardened aluminium tent pegs from Hilleberg. These V-shaped pegs are a lighter weight and are supplied as standard with the Yellow Label tents so you are getting a quality peg that will provide a solid anchor.

Hilleberg says: 

Our lightest peg, the new, hardened aluminum Y-Peg UL has a “Y” cross-section similar to our Y-Peg, but in a smaller (and lighter) package. While not quite as robust as the larger Y-Peg, it offers a great balance of hard ground penetration and soft ground holding power. Its gold anodizing makes it highly visible, and the attached string loop makes it easier to pull it from the ground.

Our Verdict

Hilleberg’s Y Peg UL Set are those usually found with their Red Label tents. Being part of this label sets a standard so these V-shaped pegs are made from hardened aluminium to provide a lightweight peg without sacrificing strength. They come with pre-attached cord which makes them easier to see in long grass and much easier to pull out with cold, wet fingers.

Whether you are replacing lost pegs or after additional pegs for spares or extra guy points this set of 10 pegs is ideal for a range of conditions. They obviously work for cutting weight on Red Label tents or for use in normal, three season conditions.
